PicoMatrix™

PicoMatrix™ is the Pro 1 Pico advanced remodeling handpiece. PicoMatrix™ expands Pro 1 Pico into advanced texture, scar and skin-quality treatments.

PicoMatrix™ precision remodeling technology supports targeted remodeling protocols for pores, scars, stretch marks, under-eye rejuvenation and advanced skin-quality treatments — a non-ablative pathway with a lighter recovery profile than ablative resurfacing.

A handpiece with its own treatment category

PicoMatrix™ is the Pro 1 Pico’s dedicated advanced remodeling handpiece. PicoMatrix™ expands Pro 1 Pico into advanced texture, scar and skin-quality treatments — a treatment category of its own alongside the platform’s pigment and tattoo work.

What PicoMatrix™ adds to Pro 1 Pico

PicoMatrix™ expands the platform beyond conventional pigment and tattoo work into a dedicated remodeling treatment category. It is designed for the structural side of skin quality, including:

  • acne scars and post-acne texture
  • enlarged pores and uneven texture
  • fine lines and visible skin-quality concerns
  • stretch marks and under-eye rejuvenation
  • advanced non-ablative rejuvenation protocols

Precision remodeling, positioned for the practice

PicoMatrix™ precision remodeling technology gives clinicians a targeted remodeling pathway while retaining the advantages of a non-ablative treatment approach: a lighter recovery profile than ablative resurfacing, and protocols that fit into the same consultation and treatment-planning workflow as the rest of the platform.

PicoMatrix™ and PulseStack™ 750

The two technologies serve different roles on the same platform.

PulseStack™ 750 is designed for broader, repeatable dermal stimulation and skin-quality maintenance. PicoMatrix™ is the more focused option for texture, pores, scars, and advanced remodeling.

That distinction lets a practice move from maintenance-oriented treatments to more intensive remodeling work without changing platforms.

Part of the Pro 1 Pico treatment architecture

PicoMatrix™ sits alongside the Pro 1 Pico’s conventional picosecond delivery, PTP dual-pulse capability, PulseStack™ 750, and long-pulse 1064 nm delivery. Together, these modes allow the platform to move between pigment correction, tattoo and PMU work, vascular and thermal applications, skin-quality treatments, and advanced remodeling.

Exact treatment settings and protocol selection depend on the indication, patient, and platform configuration.

FAQs

What is PicoMatrix™?

PicoMatrix™ is the Pro 1 Pico advanced remodeling handpiece. It supports targeted remodeling protocols for pores, scars, stretch marks, under-eye rejuvenation and advanced skin-quality treatments.

How is PicoMatrix™ different from CO₂ resurfacing?

PicoMatrix™ is non-ablative, so it offers a fractional-style remodeling pathway with a lighter recovery profile than ablative CO₂ resurfacing. Practices often position the two as different rungs on the same treatment ladder.

How is it different from PulseStack™ 750?

PulseStack™ 750 is designed for broader, repeatable dermal stimulation and skin-quality maintenance. PicoMatrix™ is the more focused option for targeted remodeling of texture, pores, and scars.

What is PicoMatrix™ used for?

PicoMatrix™ supports targeted remodeling protocols for acne scars, post-acne texture, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines, and advanced non-ablative rejuvenation. Additional treatment protocols are developed around the same PicoMatrix™ treatment architecture.
