Training
What training comes with a Pro 1 laser?
Every new Pro 1 Laser platform includes clinical operator training for the team who will run it — onboarding, hands-on clinical training and protocol guidance, coordinated by Laser Equipment Global with Pro 1 Laser and matched to your clinic and jurisdiction. Device-specific settings are taught there and in your verified operating manual, not published online.
- Before training: the new-owner operating guides below cover what each platform includes, treatment-room and laser-safety preparation, and a general treatment-day workflow.
- In training: your operators learn the platform's treatment engines hands-on, with the protocols and settings matched to each patient by a trained provider.
- After training: service, support and refresher questions go to the same group that supplied the platform — see ownership, training and service.
The guides are grouped by platform track. The clinical articles alongside them — wavelength selection, pulse duration, skin-type caution — are the background a team should have before the hands-on session, written for the buyer and the operator rather than the patient.
Pico Laser Training
- Why 532 nm Requires Caution on Darker Skin Types — Treat darker skin with confidence: why 532 nm needs caution, how PIH and melasma risk shape the plan, and when 1064 nm is the conservative lead.
- Why PMU Removal Is Not the Same as Tattoo Removal — PMU removal is a premium facial-correction service, not tattoo removal on the face — pigment chemistry, oxidation risk and the pico protocols that win it.
- Pro 1 Pico: New-Owner Operating Guide — A post-purchase onboarding guide for clinics learning the Pro 1 Pico picosecond platform — setup, safety fundamentals, and where verified training begins.
- Pico Laser Training: Tattoo Colour and Wavelength Selection — Match wavelength to ink and skin and every tattoo becomes a bookable case — black, red, orange, green, blue and cosmetic inks on one pico platform.
- Pico Laser Training: Why Pulse Duration Matters — Pulse duration is what makes pico worth buying — picosecond vs nanosecond Q-switched, and why shorter pulses power pigment, tattoo and melasma work.
Diode Laser Training
- DioLase Titanium: New-Owner Operating Guide — New-owner onboarding for the DioLase Titanium diode platform — room setup, eyewear, safe-operation fundamentals, and where verified settings live.
- Diode Laser Training: In-Motion vs Static Hair Removal — In-motion vs static diode technique — how each delivers energy, when to glide vs place deliberately, and why cooling and mapping decide the result.
- Why 808 nm Is the Diode Hair-Removal Standard — Why 808 nm anchors professional hair removal — absorption, depth and follicle targeting — and how DioLase Titanium builds on it with Quattro 4D™.
CO₂ Laser Training
- Alexa CO₂: New-Owner Operating Guide — A new-owner orientation to operating your Alexa CO₂ platform — room setup, plume and fire safety, delivery, workflow, and where verified settings live.
DPL / IPL Training
- DPL Elite: New-Owner Operating Guide — A new-owner orientation for the DPL Elite narrowband DPL platform: what you own, how to prepare your room, and safe-operation fundamentals.
More Training
- Pro 1 Laser Hands-On Device Training Policy — Manufacturer-led device training, supervised hands-on practice, operator responsibilities and ongoing support for Pro 1 Laser clinics.
- Tattoo Removal Training & Laser Certification in Canada — What tattoo removal training actually involves in Canada: certification reality by province, laser safety expectations, and how to evaluate a training program.
Common questions
- Is clinical training included with every Pro 1 Laser platform?
- Yes. Clinical operator training is included with every new Pro 1 Laser platform for the team who will run it — onboarding, clinical training and protocol guidance — rather than billed as a separate line. When you compare quotes from different suppliers, compare the delivered, trained and warranted total, because training invoiced separately is a common way a lower sticker price stops being lower.
- Why are treatment settings not published on this site?
- Device-specific settings, energy selections and treatment recipes belong in your verified operating manual and your hands-on training, where a trained provider matches them to each patient. The public training guides cover orientation, room setup, safety fundamentals and general treatment-day workflow — everything your team needs to be ready for that training — and stop where the clinical values begin.
- Do I need a licence or certification to operate an aesthetic laser in Canada?
- Requirements vary by province and by treatment, and there is no single national certification. The tattoo removal training guide sets out the certification reality province by province, the laser-safety expectations most clinics and insurers look for, and how to evaluate a training program before you commit to it.
- How do we arrange training for our team?
- Laser Equipment Global coordinates onboarding and clinical training with Pro 1 Laser for your clinic and jurisdiction. Training follows delivery of the platform; contact us to schedule it, add operators, or request your verified operating documentation. Existing owners use the same contact options for any training question.
- What do the getting-started guides cover?
- Each new-owner operating guide orients a clinic to its platform — what the system includes, how to prepare the treatment room and laser-safety program, and a general treatment-day workflow — with device-specific settings reserved for hands-on training. There is one for the Pro 1 Pico, the DioLase Titanium, the DPL Elite and the Alexa CO₂ family.
